Water Testing

I have had some customers ask if we are able to test water. While I would love to be able to tell you what is in your water, unfortunately I do not have that capability. They do make some home test kits that can give you an indication, but I would recommend getting your water tested by a lab to get accurate results.

Before we received and installed our reverse osmosis unit, the tap water was tested to see what we are working against.  Simple Lab (https://mytapscore.com/) is a highly recommended lab by Consumer Reports, New York Times, and The Washington Post.  We had the advanced water test completed, which tested for 109 chemicals in the water.  Below are the top 8 chemicals in our water that are above the Washington utility averages.  These are what our Reverse Osmosis unit is removing.

The full reports are printed and available in our store to view.  As you can see above, Magnesium was 510% more than the average for the state of Washington.  Lead was 450% higher than the state average, and Arsenic was 235% higher than the state average.

I have also received some requests for Distilled water (which would also remove the lead).  So I am going to do some shopping around for a distiller.  Will keep you updated as we improve, and if you have any suggestions of what we can provide for you, please let us know using the contact page.
